Airport Companion
Airports can be overwhelming with large terminals, unfamiliar layouts, long queues, and constantly changing flight details make the journey stressful, especially for infrequent or first-time flyers. Missed gates, last-minute announcements, or lack of discovery options add to the frustration.
Navigate seamlessly through check-in, security and boarding
Stay informed about flight timing and gate updates
Help with exploration around the airport
Meet Arjun
He reached Mumbai T2 two hours early, and still ran to the gate. This is the story of fixing that.
Persona & journey

Infrequent and first-time flyers get information scattered, late and disconnected from their own time. Every unknown eats into the buffer they arrived early to protect, so they stop exploring and wait anxiously at the gate.
How might we tell Arjun his next step, and exactly how long it takes, at every checkpoint?
How might we get a gate or time change to him before the crowd starts moving?
How might we make leaving the gate area feel safe instead of risky?
Feature Analysis

Experience Principles
Always show the next step
One action at a time with a walk or wait time. Kamala never has to read a map to know where to go.
Time is the primary interface
Everything is framed as buffer: time to spare, time to walk, time until boarding. Like a live order ETA.
Calm by defaut, Loud when matters
Quiet updates most of the time. Strong haptics, colour and sound are saved for gate changes and final calls.
Works when the network doesn't
How might we tell Arjun his next step, and exactly how long it takes, at every checkpoint?

Arjun's journey, fixed

Back to Arjun
He still reaches two hours early. This time he eats a proper meal, hears about the gate before the crowd, and boards without running.
